Aria Art Gallery is pleased to present the solo photographic exhibition of renowned master Massimo Listri, at Borgo SS. Apostoli 40/r, Florence. From June 20 to July 20, 2024.
The exhibition, titled “Specchio e Realtà” invites a reflection on the concept that art can act as a mirror of real life. Paradoxically, it suggests that perhaps life itself imitates art, transforming life into the mirror and art into the true reality. The works in the exhibition embody the extraordinary aesthetic and stylistic sensibility of Listri, whose meticulous eye captures environments ranging from palaces and libraries to museums and private residences. Each piece reflects a deep attention to detail, historical-artistic context, and, particularly, the interaction of light with spaces, architectural elements, and colors.
The interpretive pillars of Listri’s works are color, light and perspective. His artistic vision imbues these historic places with an aura of idyllic silence, allowing the viewer to immerse himself in spaces that, deprived of human presence, rediscover their original beauty. The works selected for this exhibition significantly exemplify the distinctive photographic language that has characterized Massimo Listri’s professional career.
