Biography

Milija Čpajak (1994) is a versatile young artist who moves across different forms. He was born in Pietrasanta (Italy) and grew up in Belgrade (Serbia). He completed his BA and MA studies in Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. He earned a French Government scholar- ship to spend one semester of his MA studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2017. In the same year he won the Niš Art Foundation competition second prize and travelled to South Korea, where he received recognition for a sculpture that he realized by taking part in a group exhibition. As guest artist of the Marble and Sounds event in Aranđelovac, he created a public space sculpture (2020). He had a numerous group and five solo shows in Serbia: ULUS (2019) Novembar Gallery in (2021),  Salon of the Belgrade City Museum (2023), Rima Gallery (2023), Aria Art Gallery (Florence, 2024) in collaboration with Drina Gallery.  Milija Čpajak, by exhibiting his works and participating in various artistic projects, quickly became an active member of the art scene in Serbia and his works are part of private collections in his country and abroad.
